As for socialized medicine… Let’s see, government has done such a great job of managing Social Security, such a great job managing Medicaid and Medicare, the Community Reinvestment Act has been a great success,oh yeah, the roads are great, absolutely no potholes. Great job there. Yep, who can do it better than government? You guys need to step back and take an honest look. What do you guys actually do well? The absolute best thing you’re great at is taxing! That’s it!
If you had an illness, where would you rather go, John Stroger (County) Hospital, or across the street to Rush Presb. St. Lukes? Think back… where did J. Stroger go when he was sick? He wouldn’t even go to his own hospital!
So in the face of all evidence that continually shows that government only screws things up, why do you persist on the course of folly that only benefits you and others on the public payroll? It begs the question of all government officials…”Are they stupid, or do they do it on purpose”? You and I both know the answer to that question.
Without demagoguery, hyperbole, and rhetoric, Democrats would have no issues.
