Jan Schakowsky on Daniel Biss

As Election Day approaches, we’re going to be working hard to elect Barack Obama. We also have an incredible opportunity to elect Daniel Biss, an exciting and young Progressive running for Change here at home, in Illinois, to the office of State Representative.

Recently, I had the honor of sitting down with Daniel and discussing our ideas for progressive change in Illinois and across the country. I hope you’ll take a moment to view it view it . I believe you’ll come to the same conclusion I have – Daniel, and the kind of campaign he has built and the kind of leader he will be, represent the future of the Progressive movement.

It's Small International Workers Paradise After All! ObamaInternationalistas Ayers/Jefe Chavez/FARC & Etc.

Billy Ayers, the Trust Funded, Insulated, Media Pampered Hyde Park Domestic Terrorist, who still, mercy sakes alive, has a job at University of Illinois Chicago Campus is the tack on the chair of Senator Obama’s Senate Seat.

Senator Obama is up and moving about the country weaving rhetorical flourishes to the people who think that Stanley Fish matters and that MSNBC provides information. While Senator Obama has been out of his seat, Illinois laughing-stock and Check Kiting Bob Creamer’s Bonnie Parker, Congressperson Jan Schakwosky is trolling for the chair – which would be Jan’s via appointment from Governor Rod Blagojevich.

The Guv has problems. Jan Schakowsky, like most self-absorbed posers, is unaware of her problems. Her husband, Bob Creamer recently got out of the Federal Pen in Terra Haute, Indiana for check kiting and immediately wrote a boffo book on Progressive Politics and ran Camp Obama for the Obama ... Back at Ms. Schakowsky’s town meeting a few months ago, when she was trolling for a few moderate votes to head off the Greenie challenge, I asked Ms. Schakowsky whether she was going to support the Colombian Free Trade Agreement. She said no, citing paramilitary actions against union members. (She said nothing about their actions against the FARC narco-terrorists.)

Schakowsky Puts Name in for Senate

For the last few months I’ve been making bets with other political junkies on who will make the first move if Barack Obama’s senate seat becomes vacant.

Early guesses were split between U.S. reps Jesse Jackson and Jan Schakowsky.

Looks like the smart money was on Schakowsky.

Over the weekend on Carol Marin’s talk show City Desk, the congresswoman from Evanston said she was interested in being appointed, adding: “I think it is unseemly and untimely right now to do much beyond stating my interest in that.”

New Book Released by Bob Creamer

Robert Creamer, not to be confused with the famed baseball writer, is now also going by the name of Bob, which I’m sure greatly pleases the more famous Creamer.

About Creamer the Lesser: For many years, he was the executive director of the Illinois Public Action Council. His wife, Jan Schakowsky, now a Democratic Illinois congresswoman who nominally represents me in Washington, was on the board of directors of the self-appointed consumer advocacy group. Creamer got caught kiting checks while running the group—he had done it before and was warned by federal authorities not to do it again. He didn’t listen, and got nabbed by the Feds again, which got him a trip to a Federal Prison Camp for five months last year.
