Congresswoman Schakowsky spent one day in Iraq and now she is an expert on military matters? Nice of the newspaper to bury that fact several paragraphs down. It was almost as if the reporter was trying to hide the brevity of her visit to Iraq — not unlike the manner in which the press has buried the fact that Schakowsky’s husband (Robert Creamer) was sent to prison for kiting checks and skimming funds from a political action committee where both he and Schakowsky worked.

One question for the impatient, antiwar critic, Schakowsky: How long have American troops been stationed in Germany and Korea? By the same token, aren’t there American troops still in Bosnia? Oh, I forgot that the Clinton administration sent the troops to the Balkans, so that must be a good mission.
