Cincinnati Gas Price Drop Below $2/Gallon. Chicago Hovers at

Chicago Daily Observer 29 October 2008 2 Comments

Cincinnati gasoline prices down to $1.98/gallon down from $2.87/gallon a year ago.

Chicago hangs in there at $2.58/gallon vs. $2.87/gallon a year ago (and $3.97/gallon a month ago)

Seems like only a month ago, the price of gas was an important story to the media. Of course a month ago, the high price of gas was more beneficial to the Obama campaign.

Perhaps every used their handy tire pressure gauge to implement Sen. Obama’s energy policy freeing us from the perils of drilling for more oil.

The best price that I saw within the Chicago city limits was $3.09. In the near suburbs, it was $2.99.
