I bet that Oak Lawn school district 122 beats the ACLU lawsuit boiling on the back range to the scald. Folks shocked by the fact that the Oak Lawn schools will ban Christmas should come as no shock. I, for one, applaud the superintendent for having the foresight to pre-empt an ACLU press conference.

Dear Reader, for the sake of space, please read ACLU as progressive mind-set; they do, after all help etch its doctrinal blueprints.

Essentially, district 122 has a 30% Muslim population of offended parents worried about the celebration of the Christmas holiday – a Crusader holiday secularized with coded messages of peace, sharing and Christian good- fellowship: “Can’t have that. Must afflict the comfortable and get on Bill Maher!”’

Dear reader, for road -rage progressives, please read Muslims as “some’ Muslims.
The ACLU and the progressive agenda must always take the contrarian rout, in order to confuse and make perfect sense. Not so long as puritan traditions of non-conformity are conformed to by progressives – the American brahmins to our Hindu neighbors – in which ‘afflict the comfortable and comfort the chosen afflicted flavor of the month,’ will there be anything different in America, until the balance of Americans begin to laugh at the ridiculous and not make the ridiculous a pious cause.

The ACLU listens only to selected offended people. People who will ensure offense in everyone else and ensure silence from the bayed crowd of witches ( the balance of Americans), when the ACLU whacks out the torch of contrarian truth and threatens this coven of conformists with a good and righteous toasting. Kind of like Bill Maher’s sanctimonious applause signal – louder the clap the smarmier the clap-trap.

When are American Muslim’s not offended? Muslims of CAIR were offended that Americans were offended when Muslims killed 4,000 innocent people on 9/11 and quickly pointed to Timothy McVeigh;

I’m serious. Cartoons offend them. Fashion offends them. Our non-progressive Americans 99.9% of Americans) attitude toward Muslim’s being offended offends them. Daylight savings time offends them. Efforts of non- progressive Americans to calm their fears offends them as patronizing.

Christmas offends them.

Halloween offends them.

The ACLU defends them.

Other Americans can be offended and stay that way. The ACLU sues Catholics and all they represent. The same goes for evangelical Christians and all non-leftist Jews, those damn Zionists.

Muslims are puritans in their attitudes. ACLU was born out of America’s puritan traditions. Therefore, Muslims and the ACLU work nicely together in the great contrarian enterprise of American intellectual romanticism, as do atheists, real witches, and jaywalking Shriners.

It makes perfect sense that the Oak Lawn school district preemptively hiked skirts before the ACLU brought its suit on behalf of Muslim parents offended by the approach of the Christian holiday season. It makes perfect sense to the progressive American sense of fair-play – call someone a witch and they are by God witches – 1647; call some people racist and , by Jena , they are racist -2007.

One could not pass the witch accusation in old Salem and Mother Teresa could not respond to a charge of racism in 2007. It’s a neat contrarian package and the conventional citizen, worshiper, voter or consumer is a fair target.

Remember, a ‘a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.’ Ralph Waldo Emerson, a single minded busy-body mouthed that self-reliant doctrine back in the 1840’s and continues to be mewed by every progressive kitten in the alley.

ACLU – types continue to throw folks like the non-Muslim parents of Oak Lawn school district onto the ducking stool and into the stocks. Witches got it coming to them. If every one else in America, besides the Muslim parents of Oak Lawn district 122 , is offended, then the ACLU has done its job – again. At least American progressives are not allowed to burn us at the stake – yet.
