Filtering the facts from the fallacies of BP controversy

U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) is correct to call for congressional hearings into government approval given to BP for a $3.8 billion upgrade to its northwest Indiana gasoline refinery.

Dan Kelley says:

This flap is somewhat reminiscent of when that grandstanding gadfly Congressman Rod Blagojevich (D-5th), who formerly represented Emanuel's district, flipped out about a freight train which included tanker cars filled with napalm (jellified petroleum) were going to pass through Chicago. The tanker cars were to be transported to a refinery where the napalm was to be reprocessed into gasoline. Blagojevich halted the train because he predicted a fiery holocaust would result if the train passed through Chicago en route to the refinery.

Whatever became of Blagojevich?
