Tilting At Windmills: Pat Quinn Goes to Spain

Gov. Pat Quinn is on another economic development trip, this time to Spain, a country in the midst of an economic crisis.

 

The Democratic governor is hitting Madrid to talk up Illinois as a good place to trade goods, invest and expand businesses. Quinn is working to attract more Spanish investment in Illinois manufacturing, alternative energy and construction sectors, said spokeswoman Brooke Anderson.
