According to the SEIU, Joseph Iosbaker is Chief Steward for Local 73 of the SEIU. Joseph Iosbaker is being investigated by the FBI for his connection to terrorist groups. Two days ago, ABC-7 also noticed that he was affiliated with the SEIU, and the Tribune has nearly noted this as well.
But (of course) the incumbent Media has decided to bury the lead.

Joe Iosbaker and his wife, Stephanie Weiner, said the government targeted them because they’ve been outspoken against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and U.S. funding of conflicts abroad. They denied any wrongdoing.

as did WGN Channel 9, as did WBBM Channel 2, and in a reversal WLS Channel 7 removed the references to the SEIU from it’s broadcast story.
This is the same media who did not notice that the SEIU had some sort of connection with ACORN, so lets get this clear, Joseph Iosbaker is Chief Steward for Local 73 of the SEIU. There are only so many Iosbaker’s in the phonebook. This is the one who is the Chief Steward for Local 73 of the SEIU.
Still no statement of SOLIDARITY for Joe Iosbaker from SEIU Local 73, nor bumpkis at SEIU’s Comic Book “Progress Illinois” – Joe must be taing one for the team. Go Purple!
