Searching for Taxpayer Action from the Quinn Administration
Governor Quinn’s Taxpayer Action Board is scheduled to get together for an open meeting on Friday, May 22, to address if there are any remaining questions and to finalize the initial reports from each subcommittee. This is a long-awaited event.
Well, today is Wednesday, May 20, and we’re two days out from the open meeting. Amazingly, there are no details on the Taxpayer Action Board’s website about when and where this meeting is supposed to be held. It simply says “Open Meeting Notice (to be posted).”
How exactly are taxpayers supposed to make plans to attend or tune in if they can’t get basic when/where information?
