Was there a Republican at any of these precincts? No No one handing out a palm card no one poll watching. The GOP has to spen money in these areas if they want to compete.
I know there were no candidates on the ballot for Republicans for the General Assembly and probably congress but that is no excuse to ignore areas and then complain. Until the GOP can take control of it’s party in Cook and the city this will be the outcome.
Even the Democratic sponsored “Republican” judges of election voted against Romney. Since every ward is supposed to have approximately the same number of Democratic and Republican election judges, in an honest election, Romney should have had a few scattered votes in each precinct.
Actually for the first time in memory the majority of the Republican judges in the black wards were GOP appointed. How ever none were sent to their own precincts. One step at a time
