Heard the show tonight and came away with thinking that Russ Stewart must be the most uninformed prognosticator in this city.
Russ, Ald. Preckwinkle represents the 4th ward, not the 5th.
and Russ, the state and city are in a deficit, not the county – as you tried to intone.
and Russ, EVERYONE in the county got a raise in 2006 (before Toddler became pres), so your agreement with the Sun Times article makes you look just as clueless as Scott Fornek, the ST reporter that wrote the scurrilous piece.
