Most Anti-Catholic President Ever Wins Catholic Vote
The most anti-Catholic American president ever scooped up the Catholic vote again, winning half of all Catholics. This is down four points from 2008, but it is still an impressive feat after four years of persecuting the Church.
Historians will no doubt record the grim irony of his achievement with some wonder. He has now won the Catholic vote twice and boasts an honorary degree in law from one of the Church’s most prestigious universities, all while breaking her. Saul Alinsky, who pioneered the technique of bamboozling and exploiting the Church, would be proud.

How did the Catholic vote break down? How much of the pro-Obama Catholic vote was from Hispanics? How much from Catholics of European origin? How much of it was from non-Church going vs. Church going Catholics?
I have also heard that Romney received a smaller percentage of the Mormon vote than McCain did.Anyone have any information on that?
And why the dropoff in turnout, Republican as well as Democratic in what was supposed to be the most important and hotly contested election of our lifetimes?
Another query to throw out….is that voter turnout dropoff the consequence of a citizenry so demoralized by the rancid economy and political deadlock that they threw up their hands and stayed home….just like those who have left the work force?
We haven’t begun to adequately analyze what happened last Tuesday.
