After speaker Bill Jenkins placed a photograph of Nazi paraphernalia on the screen with the caption, “this is what a gun show looks like,” and after he had put a picture of a chihuahua with the words “this is what I think the NRA really is” up, the crowd had nearly had it.


Finally, when panelist Lee Goodman of the Stop Concealed Carry Coalition responded to a question about the original reasons for including the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights by saying “it didn’t matter [what their intentions were],” it was enough for the combat veteran to speak up:

    Lee Hugh Goodman is a former Republican who once worked for George H. Ryan as a lawyer in the Securities Department of the Office of the Illinois Secretary of State. After he was separated from his position, he switched parties and moved to the far left of the Democratic Party. He made one unsuccessful run for Congress in the former 10th District and may have run for a few lesser offices in the North suburbs.

    When he changed his political affiliation, he should have changed his name to “Goofman.” He constantly tries to one up his fellow Democrats by taking more and more extreme positions.
