Jesse Jackson Jr: It’s Time to Suspend Congress

Daily Caller 13 October 2011 5 Comments

President Obama tends to idealize — and rightfully so — Abraham Lincoln, who looked at states in rebellion and he made a judgment that the government of the United States, while the states are in rebellion, still had an obligation to function,” Jackson told TheDC at his Capitol Hill office on Wednesday.

“On several occasions now, we’ve seen … the Congress is in rebellion, determined, as Abraham Lincoln said, to wreck or ruin at all costs. I believe … in the direct hiring of 15 million unemployed Americans at $40,000 a head, some more than $40,000, some less than $40,000 — that’s a $600 billion stimulus.

That’s an interesting view from Jesse Jackson Jr. The Republican party took control of the House of Representatives from the Democrats. It’s not a rebellion. It’s representative government working.

Whenever I think of Jesse Jackson Jr, I think about his attempt to buy a Senate seat, his affair with an attractive blonde, and a secret lap band surgery.

It seems like Jesse Jackson is trying to ignite a race war and a civil war. The whole nation will lose with millions of deaths, and national destruction. His sympathizers should warn him.

Jesse Jackson Jr. seems to be supporting Obama declaring military law is in fact subverting the U.S. Constitution. In stating that congress is in rebellion, simply because they will not do as President Obama demands, he seem to be at best ignorant of his job, his oath of office, the intent of the founder and the U.S .Constitution at worst he is a seditionist.
He seems to believe that being president is like being a king, this coming from a member of congress is a scary thought. Congress IS suppose to hold check over the president keeping from him doing as he pleases. If a republic had suggested this under bush (remember we had just been attacked) the democrats would have been demanding and investigation. What next for Jessie Jackson jr, will he demand a suspension of the supreme court if they rule against Obama care?
His comparison to the civil war it at its best completely WRONG. The 13 confederate states LEFT the republic, refused to follow the constitution, creating a new Constitution for the Confederate States of America then take up arms against the Republic, Lincoln’s assertion was the confederates lack standing to do so. Therefore the Confederate States were in open rebellion.
Let correct an outright lie that this Illinois Democrat Representative states. Lincoln did not suspend Congress, nor did he total suspend the constitution, namely Habeas Corpus.
This is like comparing apples and oranges; then again many Democrats would do their damnedest to convince you that a banana is a pineapple if it would help them achieve their goal. Have to notice being called a racist has lost it effect, now the Dems are trying the revolt angle

Forget about Jesse’s idea to suspend Congress, it’s time to suspend Jesse Jackson, senior and junior. When will the world wake up to these two hypocrites and phonies?
