“No comment” from Rahm Emanuel, who wisely feigned amnesia.

  • Jim Ridings said:

Chicago Democrats, who have been Blago’s best friends in the good times, will respond to the conviction the same way they have responded since they found Blago was under investigation — they never heard of him.

Mike Flannery spent 30 minutes on WIND this morning explaining how Blagojevich operated in a vacuum, was a lone wolf, didn’t really communicate with other Illinois Democrats.

Probably explains why Mike Madigan was the Chairman of Blagojevich’s re-election campaign…and why Blago and Rahm conspired to illegally (and unsuccessfully) import Canadian pharmaceuticals into Illinois….

Kudos to Dan Proft, who read a series of glowing endorsements of Blagojevich over the airwaves while broadcasting on WLS 890 AM last night.

Some of the people praising Blagojevich included Barack Obama, Lisa Madigan and Pat Quinn. An editorial endorsement from the Chicago Sun-Times, which boosted Blagojevich as its preferred candidate in both 2002 and 2006, was also read.

In every one of Blagojevich’s seven election races, he was the endorsed candidate of the Regular Democratic Party. Now, nobody knows who he is.

Did anyone see the entire news conference of Patrick Fitzgerald? He was asked who tipped off John Chase and I wanted to watch it agian more carefully but I can’t find it any where…I was hoping it would be posted on Youtube by now but it’s not yet available.

All I can say is if Rod Blagovich walked into
my favorite watering hole The DeBarnone…even if I was half in
the bag….I would not forget the visitor that looked
like a walking talking Bobble Head Doll.

No. There is no denying you know who he is once you
have seen him and met him. Even if he was in a “vacum”
you would still know he’s in there and up to something.
