Claim: $400K from Rezko to Sen. Barack Obama. Is That Legal Patrick Fitzgerald?

Daniel T. Frawley, a former business partner of Antoin “Tony” Rezko, claims he gave Rezko $400,000 that Rezko gave to then U.S. Senator Barack Obama.
This claim comes through Frawley’s emails to, and conversations with, Robert “Bob” Cooley, former Chicago mob lawyer turned government informer and author of the book on Chicago corruption entitled “When Corruption Was King”.
Cooley was the star witness in a series of trials in the early 1990’s as part of an F.B.I. investigation named Operation Gambat. Those trials led to the convictions of over a score of Chicago crooks, including First Ward Alderman Fred Roti, a made-man; the Chief Judge of Cook County’s Chancery Court; the Assistant Majority Leader of the Illinois State Senate; and the only Federal Judge in U.S. history convicted of fixing a murder trial.
We can read article after article about Rezko’s connections to Obama, and Blago’s connections to Obama, but will anyone outside of conservative circles ever talk about it?
Is there any special prosecutor, or Illinois Attorney General empowered or even interested to make the connection?
I feel like we’re playing to the Deaf-Ear Society.
Unlike being guilty before God even if you didn’t know you were doing it, in Chicago you ain’t guilty if you ain’t caught and sent to prison. Otherwise, it’s just a politcal difference of opinion. Besides, everyone knows $400,000 is hardly enough to buy a senator.
What did Frawley expect in return? Did he receive it?
The Illinois Attorney General isn’t going to touch this with a hundred foot long cattle prod. She’s Lisa Madigan, the daughter of Illinois’ reigning powerbroker/numero uno sleazeball Dem pol: House Speaker Michael Madigan. They’re all in this together, hoping it’ll go away.
Now we know how much Hope&Change! costs.
An honest politician is one who stays bought. I doubt Obama fits that bill.

Open question: could this $400,000 be part of the cash Obama used to buy his $1.6 million home while on a $50,000 salary?
If it ain’t a Republican, it never happened. If it is a Republican it is a travesty of justice which must be shouted from the mountain tops.
WayneM; Frawley wanted a $50 million dollar contract for his company, Companion Security…He wanted to bring 150 Iraqi’s to Illinois to train to use AK-47′s and other assault weapons…and thank God he did NOT get the contract…Read his letter, the man can’t even spell his own name correctly…How frightening is that?
