Watching Obama's Donors

Great work again by RezkoWatch’s B Merry:

Did former Weather Undeground Terrorist William Ayers, pictured in the 1960s, donate to the Obama campaign?

From Peter Hitchens in the Daily Mail:

It suggests very bad judgment, as do strong, persistent suggestions that Obama also accepted quite small contributions from extreme Left-wing veterans of the terrorist Weather Underground now living in Chicago.

Are the Democrats going to nominate a presidential candidate with a blank check (as in no background check)?

Obama is a mystery. Ask anyone of his enthusiastic supporters about him and beyond the obvious facts they know nothing about him.

His religious background cannot be discussed (Moslem schooling, his adult conversion to Christianity took place in a radically Afrocentric church). His white mother cannot be interviewed or photographed (what are they hiding about this woman?). His dead Kenyan father was a brute and a raging alcoholic. Obama's own drug use and biography have been muted.

The truth will set you free.

I would say the evidence is much stronger that Sen. Obama is a Leftist, which can be easily deduced from his voting record and proposed statist policies, something the Media refuses to analyze.

Great post by John Rubery! The more light shined upon these academic cockroaches the sooner they may scurry off to their own private Arcadia - or Ossining.

Obviously, you have no frigging clue what a "leftist" is then.

Obama is well within the mainstream of American political discourse.

John Powers says:

Let's see, Obama supports nationalizing autoworkers pensions, state provided healthcare, gender equity requirement across industries, cut and run foreign policy, and higher taxes.

While there are plenty of people out there who want a Leftist government in the USA, these policies still remain Leftist.

You left out the part where you back up your assertions with some factual documenation. As for favoring "higher taxes," that doesn't make him a leftist. Again, if you are using that as an example, you have no foggy clue what "leftist" means.

Warren Buffet favors raising the top income tax rate. Is he a "leftist?"

In addition, while you used the term "state provided health" care, you do realize we already have that, right? It's called Veteranms Hospitals.

You appear to be conflating some kind of government funded national health insurance program with nationalized health care.

I really do suggest you go and read Obama's plan at his website, instead of relying on biased sources of information.

John Powers says:

Supporting raising top income tax rates is a left wing idea, regardless if it comes from Warren Buffet or Jimmy Buffet. When you couple higher taxes with other well documented left wing ideas, Leftist is an apt description.

What exactly is biased about restating Obama's campaign slogans? He is the one campaigning for nationalizing autoworkers pension, for example. If Sen. Obama is against nationalizing pensions, he should state that, rather than campaigning on the Left Wing.
