I don’t get it. Why would Neil Steinberg help Mary Mitchell portray a neighborhood (Mount Greenwood) as the last Bunker of the Third Reich, much less Archie?
This summer, Mary Mitchell crafted a story about Mount Greenwood chock full of racists, dogs and armed hostile police – The Mount Greenwood Seven. Trouble is there is no evidence ( no links; no archived columns and accounts) that Mount Greenwood Elementary School was ever under siege by racists for months back in the 1960′s, requiring a deployment of hundreds of Chicago …

In a World Dominated by Sanctimonious Phonies, The Chicago Sun Times Leads the Way! Apologies to Cardinal George – This One is On Me!
Moral certainty is always a sign of cultural inferiority. The more uncivilized the man, the surer he is that he knows precisely what is right and what is wrong. All human progress, even in morals, has been the work of men who have doubted the current moral values, not of men who have whooped them up and tried to enforce them. The truly civilized man is always …

Expect non-stop ‘all Burge all the time’ from the hard hitting cadre of investigative journalists and opinion slingers.
TV News Nitwits will adjust the odd comb-over and honey-do tresses and get all steely eyed.
Remember Millionaire Lefty Lawyer G. Flint Taylor (long time pal of Billy Ayers they go WAAAAY back!) brokered this Burge Story. He was last heard from while being sued by Urban Translator and Repentant Gang-banger Emeritus Wallace Gator Bradley, late of the Queen’s Own Gangster Disciples. G. Flint will no doubt want his cut, Tribune and STNG. He …

Mr. Gannon, You and all skilled tradesmen are the goat that will be sacrificed. Barack Obama told a tax-burdened plumber over the weekend that his economic philosophy is to “spread the wealth around” — a comment that may only draw fire from riled-up John McCain supporters who have taken to calling Obama a “socialist” at the Republican’s rallies.
Obama made the remark, caught on camera, after fielding some tough questions from the plumber Sunday in Ohio, where the Democratic candidate canvassed neighborhoods and encouraged residents to vote early.
“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” the plumber asked, complaining that he …

Ray Coffey covered the Vietnam War for nearly three years in the 1960s, marching through swamps with U.S. soldiers and winning journalism awards in the process. ( from Chicago Sun Times) Click my post title for the tribute to Ray Coffey.
Mr. Ray Coffey was a great friend to the kids of Leo High School for whom he always had time – to listen.
God bless you Holly Coffey! God bless all of your kids! God Bless the heart of Ray Coffey that made his ear the organ and conduit of truth …

Obama is rooted to William Ayers and his political ascendancy owes more to Ayers than it does to the urban myth – Obama as Chicago Machine Politician. Obama is no more a Democratic Machine Politician than Tony Rezko is a philanthropist, or the Chicago Sun Times is a newspaper.
For all the protestations from Obama’s journalists – worldwide – there has never been a serious inquiry, much less valuable study of William Ayers and his dangerous influence upon Obama by any Mainstream Media -including the cut-and-paste work of Sean Hannity.

The front page of the Chicago Tribune features a nude painting done by a 69 year old artist – who employed his daughter as a model for Governor Palin. The Chicago Tribune editorial geeks are solidly behind Senator Obama. Along with the cork-screwing Sun Times, the Tribune engages in a daily beatdown of McCain or Palin. No big deal really as no one in Chicago seems to pay much attention to the Chicago editorial dweebs and pencil-necks who tend to live in lily-white suburbs while celebrating diversity.
With all the news …

You want wild; You want edgy; You want a Cynthia McKinney to read over the Cruller and Coffee; You want Mary Mitchell!
Mary Mitchell and Green POTUS candidate Cynthia McKinney will give you a wild, edgy perspective on anything. McKinney is a 9/11 theorist, demands that the sealed records on the late Tupac Shakur become public, called the impeachment of G.W.Bush, and is a cop hater. Here Congressional District tossed McKinney, who was no Zell Miller, and McKinney found a snug fit in the Green Party.
The Chicago Sun Times eight-sixed edgy …

The 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines were escorted from Midway Airport to the All State Arena in DesPlaines, IL by hundreds of motorcycle bikers of the Patriot Guard Riders from all over Chicago Land. The bus bearing Fox Company with Morgan Park/Beverly ( St. Barnabas Parish) native Ryan Nolan broke down on 294 four miles south of the River Road exit. Patriot Guard Riders assisted Illinois State Police Troopers in maintaining the steady flow of traffic to O’Hare.
The Bikers were not necessarily family, but most shared the …
