Barack Obama told a tax-burdened plumber over the weekend that his economic philosophy is to “spread the wealth around” — a comment that may only draw fire from riled-up John McCain supporters who have taken to calling Obama a “socialist” at the Republican’s rallies.
Obama made the remark, caught on camera, after fielding some tough questions from the plumber Sunday in Ohio, where the Democratic candidate canvassed neighborhoods and encouraged residents to vote early.
“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” the plumber asked, complaining that he …

Ray Coffey covered the Vietnam War for nearly three years in the 1960s, marching through swamps with U.S. soldiers and winning journalism awards in the process. ( from Chicago Sun Times) Click my post title for the tribute to Ray Coffey.
Mr. Ray Coffey was a great friend to the kids of Leo High School for whom he always had time – to listen.

Obama is rooted to William Ayers and his political ascendancy owes more to Ayers than it does to the urban myth – Obama as Chicago Machine Politician. Obama is no more a Democratic Machine Politician than Tony Rezko is a philanthropist, or the Chicago Sun Times is a newspaper.
For all the protestations from Obama’s journalists – worldwide – there has never been a serious inquiry, much less valuable study of William Ayers and his dangerous influence upon Obama by any Mainstream Media -including the cut-and-paste work of Sean Hannity.

The front page of the Chicago Tribune features a nude painting done by a 69 year old artist – who employed his daughter as a model for Governor Palin. The Chicago Tribune editorial geeks are solidly behind Senator Obama. Along with the cork-screwing Sun Times, the Tribune engages in a daily beatdown of McCain or Palin. No big deal really as no one in Chicago seems to pay much attention to the Chicago editorial dweebs and pencil-necks who tend to live in lily-white suburbs while celebrating diversity.
With all the news …

You want wild; You want edgy; You want a Cynthia McKinney to read over the Cruller and Coffee; You want Mary Mitchell!
Mary Mitchell and Green POTUS candidate Cynthia McKinney will give you a wild, edgy perspective on anything. McKinney is a 9/11 theorist, demands that the sealed records on the late Tupac Shakur become public, called the impeachment of G.W.Bush, and is a cop hater. Here Congressional District tossed McKinney, who was no Zell Miller, and McKinney found a snug fit in the Green Party.
The Chicago Sun Times eight-sixed edgy …

The Tribune updated its story on the death this summer of Curtis Cooper and the complicity of the property managers United Property Advisors (UPA)that is raking in millions of dollars from the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA).
Yesterday’s article deftly stepped around the ‘alleged’ crumb in the unhappy accident that caused Curtis Cooper’s death – Cullen Davis.
Cullen Davis, like William Ayers, is the wee lad of a well-connected Dad…

Yesterday, August 12, 2008, Francis Cardinal George settled with the victims of priest/cleric abuse in the amount of $12.6 million dollars. The Chicago Tribune reported that story. The Sun Times, like the little fat punk who watches two tough guys fight and then rekindles the violence with taunts to each combatant, intends to milk this issue.
The horror of the abuse is too monstrous to imagine. Catholics are all too aware of the damage inflicted by monsters in stiff collars and vestments who hid behind canon law, the majesty of the …

“What are we paying him for? Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan, arguably the most powerful Democrat in the state, takes home $95,000 a year but refuses to sit down with the governor.” Sun Times Editorial July31, 2008
The jerk who has had a happy hour fueled night of entitlement floors his Jaguar through traffic and is eventually pulled over by a police officer for violating public safety and the Laws. The officer is treated to ‘Don’t you have anything better to do? How’s the murder rate? Hey, I …
