Why is it that President Barack Obama can travel the world apologizing for America, calling our nation “arrogant” and criticizing our international actions – yet why does he find it impossible to apologize for his own misguided words?
How can someone – who says he prides himself on studying issues before remarking on them – admit he doesn’t have the facts yet speak out in a nationally televised news conference in favor of a friend in condemning police of acting “stupidly” in arresting that friend? How can he …

It will put thousands of people to work, they said. Crumbling roads and bridges no longer will pose a threat to motorists. Substandard water and sewer systems will get fixed. Fire stations and other government buildings will get roofs and other needed improvements.
No one mentioned dolphins. But dolphins at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago will benefit from $100,000 in taxpayer money that will go toward fixing up their tank, which needs a new liner. The Chicago Zoological Society that runs the zoo is hardly destitute. According to its most recent …

The President, who suggested Wednesday night that doctors routinely perform unnecessary, dangerous surgery on children for profit, thinks that government bureaucrats are more qualified to prescribe treatment for these children than are physicians. His superior faith in unelected, unqualified bureaucrats over medical professionals should be no surprise. He learned it while serving quietly as an appendage of the Chicago Democrat political establishment and protecting corrupt state entities like the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board.
I have committed this campaign to sharing with you the true nature of state government systems and …

The unrest among Illinois conservatives is palpable, to say the least, of US Rep. Mark Kirk’s (R-10) entry in the US Senate Primary for Pres. Obama’s former Senate seat. That conservative unrest is understandable, but before resources are used against Kirk, let me suggest that ambivalence may be a more profitable approach to his candidacy.
Conservatives have long disdained the North Shore Republican’s liberal voting record in the House of Representatives. He has gone against the mainstream of his party on pro-life issues, the War on Terror and gun control. He …
